Hospital Door Solutions by Clinical Area
Each area of a hospital places different demands on its doors: pressure cascades, traffic flow, radiation shielding and cleaning protocols. These solutions group the doors, windows and accessories we supply by clinical area, with the typical configuration of each project.
Operating room and critical area doors
The operating theatre is the most demanding application: the door must hold the pressure cascade when closed and move beds and staff through quickly without dragging corridor air along. Our hermetic sliding doors seal across the full perimeter and pair with observation windows and automatic operators.
For hybrid and catheterisation rooms we supply lead-lined versions with certified equivalence, and for ICUs doors with quiet-mode speed profiles and anti-pinch sensors for night rounds.
Ward and patient room doors
Patient rooms, bathrooms and corridors call for swing doors that survive bed traffic, wipe down easily and follow the hospital color scheme. HPL doors with honeycomb or mineral cores cover this demand with antibacterial finishes.
Heavy-duty closers, vision panels with or without blinds, and kick plates where the project needs them — all from the same factory, with one set of documents.
Cleanroom and radiology doors
Pharmaceutical and laboratory cleanrooms run on interlocked doors and differentiated pressures; we supply the complete package: interlocking hermetic doors, double-glazed windows, sandwich panels, profiles and air grilles.
In radiology, lead-lined doors (1-3 mmPb per the shielding report) ship with matching leaded glass windows and per-shipment certificates.
FAQ
Can you supply doors for only one zone of the hospital?
Yes. Many projects start with operating rooms or radiology and continue with wards. We quote by zone or as a complete package, with the same documentation.
Do the solutions include windows and hardware?
Yes: observation or cleanroom windows, frames, closers, automatic operators and air grilles are supplied matched with the doors, from one factory.
How do I choose between a hermetic door and an HPL door?
The hermetic slider is for pressure-controlled areas (operating rooms, ICUs, cleanrooms); the HPL swing door for patient rooms and corridors. Not sure? Send the floor plan and we propose the configuration per area.
Do you support tenders?
Yes: test reports, labels, packing lists and datasheets for the tender file, plus drawings for approval before production.
