What operating room doors must deliver

Operating rooms run on controlled airflow: positive pressure against corridor air, filtered supply, defined air change rates. The door is the largest moving opening in that envelope - it must seal fully when closed, move fast and quietly during surgery traffic, and survive hundreds of cycles per day with aggressive disinfection in between.

Standard operating rooms: single-leaf hermetic sliding doors (HS-100) with radar and hands-free activation, double-glazed vision panel, full-perimeter brush and labyrinth seals. Hybrid and trauma rooms with wide access: double-leaf hermetic doors (HS-200) with breakout function for emergency egress. Rooms using mobile C-arms: lead-lined hermetic doors (HS-110 / LD-120) with matched lead glass.
