SW-140 Sliding-Swing Combined Hermetic Door Released for Escape Routes

Fenghe has released the SW-140, a sliding-swing combined hermetic door designed for hospital areas where escape routes and airtightness must coexist.

In daily operation the SW-140 behaves like a standard automatic hermetic sliding door: full-perimeter sealing, soft start and soft stop, and hands-free activation. When the breakout function is engaged, the leaf pivots open like a swing door, releasing the full clear width for evacuation or emergency equipment movement.

This combination has long been requested by designers of operating theater complexes and ICUs, where building codes often require escape doors but pressure regimes require hermetic sealing. Until now, projects had to choose between a dedicated escape door and an airtight door.

After an emergency opening, the leaf resets to sliding mode in a single motion, so the door returns to normal service without tools or technician visits.

The SW-140 is available in single-leaf versions from 1000mm to 1500mm and double-leaf versions up to 2400mm, with the same operator platform and spare parts as our HS sliding series.
