How Our OEM/ODM Process Works for Medical Door Projects

Most hospital door projects we ship are not standard catalog orders. Distributors and contractors come to us with room schedules, wall types and local requirements that demand custom sizes, finishes and configurations. This article walks through how our OEM/ODM process turns those requirements into delivered containers.

It starts with drawings. Send us the door schedule - opening sizes, wall thicknesses, door types per room - in any format. Our engineering team converts it into a door-by-door production list and flags conflicts, such as oversized leaves that need reinforced operators or lead levels that change the frame design.

Specification confirmation comes next. We agree on finishes, glazing, hardware brands, activation devices and documentation requirements, then issue shop drawings for approval. Nothing enters production before the drawings are signed off.

Production runs in our own facility: profile processing, leaf fabrication, powder coating, operator assembly and final fitting. Because the operator, rail and leaf come from one factory, commissioning parameters arrive consistent instead of assembled from third-party parts.

Quality control includes airtightness and function checks per door, plus the tests relevant to your project - fire certificates or shielding type-tests where required. Reports ship with the goods.

Packing is engineered for sea freight: leaf-and-frame sets separated, glass crated, operators boxed with their controllers. Each door set is labeled against the room schedule so site teams can sort containers without opening everything.

After delivery we support installation with drawings, videos and video-call guidance, and we keep spare parts packages - seals, rollers, belts, glass - available for the service life of the doors.
